Monthly Events

Vilakku Pooja

Every month on the day of Full Moon, a Lamp Pooja is conducted in the evening in Baba's presence at his sanctum. Additionally, women participating in the Thiruvilakku Pooja are offered vastra danam (gift of clothing). Those who wish to contribute to the vastra danam are welcome to offer their support as they are able.

Palanquin Service

To commemorate Baba's palanquin procession in Shirdi, after the Pournami lamp pooja is done here, Palakku Seva is performed grandly.

Due to their love for Baba, some devotees eagerly carry the Sai Palak on their shoulders, while some pull the Sai Rath, some sprinkle flowers, some carry torches, and chant the name of Baba while walking around the temple premises thrice. This palanquin service really gives goosebumps to everyone.

The temple is decorated, and devotees participate in recitations, singing, and offering prasad. The festival highlights devotion and aligns with Sai Baba's teachings of righteousness and spirituality.

On this auspicious day we express our gratitude to our spiritual guru, Sri Sai Baba. Kanakabishekam is done and the coins are given back to the devotees as these coins are said to birng prosperity to the peoples home.

Vijayadashami

October

Sai Baba's Mahasamadhi, observed on October 15th, honors the day of Sai Baba's passing. It commemorates Sai Baba's departure from his physical form and is a time for devotees to honor his life, teachings, and divine presence through special prayers, offerings, and devotional activities.

Aippasi Fullmoon

October/November

During the full moon day in the tamil month of Aippasi, annaabishekam is done to Sai Baba and butter is offered.  The offered butter is then given to devotees as prasad and consuming this butter is said to solve stomach related health issues and the problems of the families which are not blessed with a baby.
